Super Austenitic Stainless Steel Grades
- 254 SMO (UNS S31254): The industrial standard for 6% Molybdenum alloys. It offers
superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater and pulp bleaching
plants
- AL-6XN (UNS N08367): A 6-moly alloy with higher nickel content (24%) than 254 SMO,
providing enhanced resistance to chloride stress-corrosion cracking (SCC)
- 654 SMO (UNS S32654): The "7-Moly" super-austenitic. It is the most
corrosion-resistant stainless steel in the world, often outperforming Nickel Alloy
625 in high-chloride, high-temperature settings

Chemical & Process Grades (904L / Alloy 926)
High-Alloy Austenitic Grades
- 904L (UNS N08904): A high-alloy austenitic steel with added Copper, designed
specifically for resistance to sulfuric acid across a wide range of concentrations
- Alloy 926 (UNS N08926): An upgraded version of 904L. By increasing the Molybdenum to
6.5% and adding Nitrogen, it provides significantly higher pitting resistance and
mechanical strength than standard 904L
High-Temperature Specialist (253 MA)
253 MA (UNS S30815)
- Unlike the "SMO" grades which focus on aqueous corrosion, 253 MA is a lean
heat-resistant grade
- Key Feature: It utilizes Rare Earth Metals (REM) and Nitrogen to provide excellent
oxidation resistance up to 1150°C
- Comparison: It offers high creep strength, often doubling the performance of Grade
310 at temperatures above 850°C, but at a lower nickel cost

- Fittings: Flanges (ASTM A182 F44 / F47), Elbows, Tees, and Reducers
- Flat Products: Sheets and Plates (ASTM A240) from 0.5mm to 50mm
