While rolled bars are suitable for many applications, forged bars are engineered for environments where failure is not an option. Through a process of controlled thermal deformation—using heavy-duty hydraulic presses or hammers—the internal grain structure of the metal is refined and realigned to follow the geometry of the bar.

These are the most common forged products, used primarily for heavy-duty shafts. Because the forging process compresses the metal, these bars can handle significantly higher torque than their rolled counterparts.

Forged Square & Rectangular Bars
Used as the starting material for complex machined parts, blocks, and manifold bodies. Forged squares offer uniform strength across all axes, which is critical for high-pressure hydraulic blocks.

When standard cold-drawn hex bars are too small for heavy-duty requirements, we provide forged hex bars. These are typically used for oversized industrial nuts and specialized valve components in the chemical sector.

We specialize in "near-net-shape" forging, where the bar is forged with multiple diameters (steps). This significantly reduces the amount of raw material wasted during final machining and shortens production lead times for pump and motor shafts.
