Hastelloy B3 is an advanced nickel–molybdenum alloy developed to overcome the fabrication and thermal-stability limitations of earlier B-series alloys. It offers exceptional resistance to hydrochloric acid and other strong reducing chemicals while providing significantly improved resistance to thermal embrittlement. Hastelloy B3 maintains excellent ductility after exposure to elevated temperatures, making it a reliable choice for demanding chemical processing environments.
