At Exotic Metals LLP our Metal Circles (also known as "Blanks" or "Discs") are the precision-cut foundations for a vast array of industrial and consumer products. Unlike square sheets, a circle is a pre-cut geometry that eliminates material waste and significantly reduces the processing time for manufacturers involved in deep drawing, spinning, and stamping.
-
These circles are annealed to a "soft" state to allow for extreme deformation. They are used to manufacture cylinders, fire extinguishers, and hollowware. The material is processed to minimize "earing" (uneven edges) during the draw, ensuring a perfect cylindrical shape.
-
Large-diameter, heavy-gauge circles are the starting point for forming "Dish Ends" or "Tank Heads." We provide circles in high-strength carbon steel and stainless steel that can withstand the immense pressure required for hydraulic pressing and flanging.
-
For the piping industry, we provide thick, rough-cut circles used as the raw material for forging and machining custom flanges. This allows manufacturers to bypass the square-to-round cutting phase, significantly reducing machining time.

Cookware & Kitchenware Circles
Primarily manufactured from Grade 304 or 430 stainless steel. These circles feature high-polish finishes (BA/No. 4) and are designed for high-speed spinning into pots, pans, and bowls. We also provide multi-ply (Tri-ply) circles with aluminum or copper cores for superior heat conductivity.
-
Custom-diameter circles used as support plates in industrial filters. These can be supplied as solid blanks or pre-perforated with precision holes to meet specific flow requirements in the chemical and water treatment industries.
