What is External FBE Coating Service?
The 3 Layer Polyethylene 3LPE Coating method begins with an adhesive primer layer applied to the cleaned pipe surface, followed by a layer of PE/PP material used by a co-extrusion process. A third layer of PE/PP is then put on top of the second layer, resulting in a three-layer system that offers good corrosion and other environmental protection.
The sticky primer, the first layer, forms a strong link between the steel pipe and the polyethene layer. The polyethene layers offer exceptional corrosion and abrasion resistance, as well as protection from UV radiation, impact damage, and other environmental variables.
